About me
Welcome! My name is Dieter Deconinck, better known as DDKing or MAD DDKing. Born and raised in Ronse, Belgium, I have had a unique and deeply personal journey in the art world. Originally an avid art collector, a period of depression and financial setbacks led me to decide to make art myself: “If I can't buy it, I'll make it myself.”
Creating art became my therapy and self-expression. Without formal art training, I taught myself various techniques by endlessly experimenting and giving free rein to my creativity. My work evolved from traditional painting to digital and AI-based art, using modern technologies to reinvent classical art forms.
My art combines traditional and digital elements to create innovative works that resonate both aesthetically and emotionally. They reflect my inner world and respond to social themes. By using AI to create art, I aim to create a new, full-fledged art form that pushes the boundaries of human creativity.
I am inspired daily by the interaction between art and technology. My goal is to make art more accessible and emotional through AI and digital innovations. My art is a journey of self-discovery and a constant search for new ways to communicate stories and emotions.
Mission
My mission is to evoke emotions through artificial intelligence and create a new, full-fledged art form. I believe AI has the power to take art to the next level and make deeper connections with audiences. “Program love, delete hate. Together, we can rewire the world.”

Exhibitions
My work has been exhibited at several prestigious events, such as:
• New Horizons: International Online Exhibition of AI and Digital Art on Instagram (May-September 2023).
• Museum Night Amsterdam 2023: Exhibition in the Central Metro Station.
• Ooidonkdreef: Group exhibition in July 2024.
• Borluut Castle 2024: Upcoming group exhibition in October.
Music
In addition to visual art, I also create music using AI. Under the names DDKing and MAD DDKing I have released several hip-hop and techno singles that can be found on all major streaming platforms. Although music is a passion, I consider it only a side project to my main focus on visual arts. My music reflects the same innovative approach as my visual art, striving to push the boundaries of what is possible with technology.
